Everywhere

Traveling was something that I really had as a priority for this gap year. Now most times when I tell people I am doing a gap year they ask what countries I went to, and they are surprised when they find out I have stayed in the United States (other than Italy).

I have been so fortunate to run, fly, drive, walk, swim, surf, bike, hike, sail, and camp my way around the states. I have hit 25 states over the course of this gap year, and I have seen and done so many things along the way. I was able to spend more time in some states than others, but regardless of that I found beauty from the east to west coast.

I was always a big advocate for getting out of the US and going to other countries to explore, which I have done and still encourage, but I have found that it is so important to appreciate where you are. I have been baffled and floored by the beauty of the United States. I have been taken a back by the beauty of my own backyard, and by being more mindful of these surroundings has made me appreciate them even more.

Here is a list of where I have gone:

UNITED STATES

Louisiana

Alabama

Tennessee

I’m not sure where the summer months will take me, but I am currently in one place (which is rare), and will be applying for jobs, studying for the LSAT (I will take this June 3rd), and then will be doing Yoga Teacher Training in June.

We will see where the wind aka God takes me over the next couple of months!!
